  • Fix subtitle timing is much more accurate, especially at the start of an episode
  • Plex playback and subtitle timing fixes no longer fail with a bare "Bad Request" from the media server on the second attempt
  • Daily Challenge now shows the countdown and your running score, grades every answer, and waits for the trailer before the clock starts
  • Lists now show a hero bar for the focused title, and a "Suggest similar" card finds titles like the whole list and opens them in Browse to narrow down
  • "Related" on a title now shows what is actually like it - shared themes, cast and director - instead of TMDB's list.
  • Fix subtitle timing now fetches the audio the same way you are watching - from your TV on your own network, or from the server when streaming remotely - and says exactly why if it cannot
  • The app reconnects to the server on its own after a long outage instead of silently falling back to a slower connection until relaunched
  • Fix subtitle timing no longer stalls for minutes when another device on your account is asleep or away from home
  • The Daily Challenge leaderboard now runs Monday to Sunday, with today's score shown separately
  • News stories always show their own picture, and a story led by a paywalled outlet now gets its picture from another source covering it
  • Show, episode and movie screens on TV use the same tab bar as mobile, and an episode no longer shows the show's Seasons tab.
  • Related is now personal - it leans toward the actors and themes you already watch.
  • Searching for a person is fast again, and no longer comes up empty while it thinks.
  • Your chosen playback quality for Jellyfin, Emby and Plex is now remembered between sessions.
  • Your Weekly Picks no longer suggests shows you are already watching, or titles from a collection you are working through.
  • Searching for an actor now finds them - hundreds of thousands of people were credited on titles in the catalog but had no searchable record
  • The player now waits out a brief network drop instead of failing immediately, offers Try again, and no longer reports an unreachable server as a missing title
  • Episode pages on the web and on tablets show their description, cast, reviews and history again
  • New York Times stories now carry full-size pictures.
  • The "Audio language" setting can now be found by searching settings for "audio".
  • Canadian news sources are working again, and more stories arrive with a picture.
  • An actor's credits now include shows they were a regular on in earlier seasons.
  • The screensaver no longer appears as you return to NaboTV from another app.
  • News story backgrounds are sharper again - stories whose feed gave only a thumbnail now get the article's own full-size picture.

  • Stories that can have a picture now get one, instead of waiting behind articles that never will.
  • News story images are noticeably sharper - the biggest picture each story offers is used instead of whichever came first.
  • Runtime filtering now covers shows as well as movies, so a rail can ask for half-hour episodes.
  • "Abandoned" now sits with the other watched statuses, so combining it with "Watched" reads the way it behaves.
  • Any sort can be reversed by choosing it again - "Last Watched (Oldest)" puts whatever you have left longest first.
  • Browse and custom rails can treat shows you have given up on as finished, or hide them.
  • Browse and custom rails can now filter by runtime, number of seasons, weighted rating and vote count.
  • A finished show now shows when you last watched it, not just one you are part-way through.
  • A title's original air date and when you last watched it now appear wherever they are known, not only in Continue Watching.
  • A Home rail can be ordered by what you have left longest, so a rewatch queue reorders itself as you watch.
  • Editing a rail built from a list no longer empties it or breaks its link to the list.
  • Any list can be shown on Home from its menu, not only newly created ones.
  • Creating a list explains the two kinds, offers to add it to Home, and tells you if it fails.
  • Browsing no longer shows the same title twice across pages, or skips one.
  • Marking an episode or movie unwatched is no longer slow.
  • Home Rails can be navigated with a remote again - the rail list is reachable from the New Rail button.
  • A title's streaming services are listed once on a wide screen instead of twice.
  • News summaries are no longer cut short, History no longer shows an empty progress range, and the poster availability badges are readable by screen readers.
  • The web app now works with screen readers without having to switch anything on first.
  • The admin Accounts tab now has selection, bulk email, status filters and a country breakdown; the Waitlist tab is retired.
  • You can now cancel an invitation you have sent, or send it again with a fresh link.
  • Profile switching instructions now match the device you are using.
  • Profile changes that fail now tell you so, instead of appearing to do nothing.
  • The Settings screen now has a title.
  • Music has a search box, so you can find an artist without scrolling your whole library.
  • The Friends list no longer stretches across a desktop window, so each friend's actions sit beside their name.
  • Removing a friend now asks you to confirm first, and tells you if the removal fails.
  • Links in the web app now point at what you are actually viewing, so you can bookmark a title, share it, or reload without losing your place.
  • Every player control is reachable, including Skip Intro, instead of being cut off at the edge of the screen.
  • Video now turns your phone to landscape and fills the screen instead of playing in a small strip.
  • Each television appears once in Remote Playback instead of twice.
  • Home rails line up properly on a phone, the last row is no longer cut off by the gesture bar, and provider logos stay readable on any poster.
  • Search results fit the screen properly, and the trivia answer card no longer shows the wrong answers through it.
  • Set your preferred audio and subtitle languages once, and playback picks them instead of whatever the file lists first.
  • A pass over the phone and tablet layouts: tabbed title pages, a compact Browse, readable news headlines, and a games QR code that fits on the screen.
  • See where you are in a collection you are watching, jump straight to it, and start one without guessing which button begins it.
  • Releases now always describe what changed, and a server deploy no longer ships the app by surprise.
  • The Subtitle Fixer now explains itself when it fails, and can pull the audio it needs through your own device, so it works with a Plex server that is only reachable at home.
  • Night Mode dims the screen and filters blue light after dark, on video as well as menus, and Sleep can now dim the picture as you fall asleep.
  • YouTube subscriptions now appear on Home, with a channel screen, a video screen, and per-channel control over what shows in Continue Watching.
  • Large Jellyfin and Emby libraries now sync completely instead of timing out.
  • New rail: New Episodes - what you own, haven't watched, and has already aired.
  • Two-part episodes that aired the same night now land on the right episode.
  • Unrecognized specials now show as owned and play from the detail screen.
  • Specials that arrived with unrecognized numbering now play when selected.
  • Playback that opened to a black screen now recovers itself.
  • Adding a Weekly Pick to a list now removes it from the rail right away.
  • Subtitle generation and fixing are dramatically faster on Plex sources.
  • Subtitle generation shows download progress (n of n clips) again.
  • Resuming the next part of an episodic watch no longer shows the previous part's end notification.
  • Fixed a remote-navigation error when pressing d-pad during dialog animations.

  • Finishing a double episode now marks both episodes watched.
  • The admin maintenance screen now shows elapsed time on running jobs.

  • NaboTV is now on the Amazon Appstore.
  • Specials in your Plex, Emby and Jellyfin libraries now show up and play.
  • Two-in-one episodes (like TNG's The Best of Both Worlds) now show as one double episode: both halves count as owned and watched together, with their real length.
  • Episode lengths now come from your own library's files, so double-length episodes show their real runtime and progress.
  • Episodes from Plex, Jellyfin and Emby libraries now always play the episode you picked, even when the library numbers a season differently than our catalog.
  • Anyone can now invite friends to NaboTV from the Friends screen.
  • Actor and crew pages have an About button with biography, birth and death details.
  • Actor and crew pages have a Media button with photos and video clips, and their Sort button no longer wanders.
  • Choosing between a title's collections now shows each one's movie and show counts.
  • The clock's AM/PM now matches the seconds in size and lines up with them.
  • News in the U.K., Canada and Australia now draws on local outlets, and stories in other languages group properly.
  • News stories from the Google index now open the real article and pick up its picture.
  • News pictures in the screensaver are sharp on 4K TVs
  • On the web, a title's Description tab now shows where to watch it and the top cast
  • Search opens on what is trending now instead of a blank page
  • On the web and phone, a news story now has a Read on <outlet> button instead of a QR code
  • News stories that come only from Google's index now show the article's picture and open the real article
  • The News feed and screensaver gradually favor the categories and people you actually open
  • News now follows your country: headlines come from your local Google News edition instead of the US one
  • News stories from many outlets now merge into one card far more reliably (the same story no longer shows as three or four cards)
  • Fixing subtitle timing no longer holds the player; it runs in the corner while you keep watching and switches to the fixed track when done
  • Fixing subtitle timing works on tracks labelled by name ("English") instead of failing with a language-code error
  • While a video opens, the player now says which server it is connecting to, over your home network or the internet, and why it is waiting
  • The News screensaver setting now offers the default, one story in every 4 slides
